Moving Your Personal Groups

 

If you have created personal groups in Sendmail you can easily move them to  Google Mail. Here is how.

 

Login to Sendmail.

 

 

Click on Compose.

 

 

Click on Groups.

 

 

Select the Group you wish to move and click To.

 

 

Close the Groups selection window. The members of the group you selected should be in the To section of the Compose email window.

Click anywhere within the To window to place the cursor there. Click “control+a( hold down the CTRL key while pressing the a key). This will select all the email addresses on the To line.

 

 

Now copy the selected email address to the clip board by pressing “control+c( hold down the CTRL key while pressing the c key).

 

Login to Google mail.

Click on Contacts>Groups>create group

 

 

 

 

 

Enter a name for the group.

 

Place the cursor in the Add Contacts: window and press “control+v” to paste the contents of the clip board into the contacts area.

Click on create group to complete the process.

 

To send email to your group you go to Contacts>Groups and select the group you wish to email by clicking the selection block and the clicking on the compose box at the bottom of the window.
