Williams Elementary-->Gifted Magnet |
|
The gifted magnet
program, offering all of the standard subjects required for successful
completion of elementary school and the appropriate examinations, also
allows students to pursue interests that sharpen the focus in the early
years. Frequently, the subjects center on a theme that unifies and adds
depth to standard curriculum. The program encourages students to read
widely and well. They learn to work together harmoniously and to use their
own talents and interests to produce fulfilling and intellectually genuine
work. All teachers are trained in working with gifted students. |
