Involvement Opportunities
- The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) of
Mebane Middle School is working towards the implementation of
new technology and other programs that will benefit all of the
students.
- The School Advisory Committee (SAC) is
comprised of administration, teachers, parents and community
members. SAC provides funding for technology, school programs
and professional development for teachers.
- We appreciate any time you may have to volunteer at our
school. However, it is important that all potential volunteers
fill out a Volunteer Application Form. These can be picked up in
the front office.
Special Reminders
- Phone messages will not be taken for students unless they
can be verified by a signed fax. This is done
for the safety of our students. Please make sure that after
school arrangements are made prior to dropping your child off to
school.
- If you would like to leave over-the-counter medication at
school for your child, please send a note with an unopened
package of the medicine. This is the only way that the nurse
will be able to provide your child with over-the-counter
medication.
- Students that are planning to ride a different bus
must have a note from the parent and the note must be
signed by the front office for approval.
- Please make sure that students arrive to school on time.
Every tardy violation is logged and there are consequences for
each tardy.
