Holiday Concert A Success!!!- Once again, our annual Holiday Concert was a success! The dinner was fabulous and the musical performance was spectacular! Thanks to all of our awesome Booster Parents who helped to make the dinner a success and a special thanks to all of our students who worked hard to present an outstanding performance! Solo & Ensemble MPA– Will be held on February 1-2, 2008 (Friday & Saturday) at Kanapaha Middle School. Concert and Symphonic Band students who participate in the event will receive extra credit. We have a number of parent volunteers signed up to help out, but we could always use more. If you are a band or chorus parent that would like to help out with the hosting of Solo & Ensemble, please print and fill out the Parent Volunteer Form. Please return the form to Mr. McNeill by Monday, January 14th. Concert MPA (for all Members of the Wind Ensemble)- The Concert MPA will take place March 6-8, 2008. Please save the dates! We will not be certain of which date we will perform on until January 14th. You have received all music for MPA except the march. I hope you have been working diligently on the other two pieces. Band & Chorus Pictures- Our band and chorus pictures were taken on December 10th and 11th. From what I saw on the digital camera, the pictures look fabulous! Soon, Johnston Photography will provide us with proofs and then you may begin ordering. You will also be able to check out their website and order online at Johnston Photography. Please be sure to order pictures so that you can always cherish your child’s middle school band days! GO Coyotes! Eleven of our fine band students were selected to participate in this year’s Alachua County Middle School Honor Band.
