Bus Routes/Runs Display with School and Student Browse
Step 1
 
  • Log on to CICS

  •  
  • You will then have one of the

  •    following options depending on
       your logon procedure.
    Select either
    FS01 - Facilities and Transportation
    or
    Facilities Menu
     
  • Then select the

  •      Transportation option.
    Step 2


  • Select the Bus Routing option.
  • Bus Routing Menu

    If you know the Route and Run you can use the
     

    EDULOG Route/Run Display

    otherwise use the

    EDULOG Routes/Runs by School

    or

    EDULOG Routes/Runs by Student

    options as described next.

    Browse by School

    When you enter this selection the
    routes and runs for your center are displayed.

    Place and X by the line you wish to view.

    Key over the highlighted school name on the first line to view routes for another center.

    Student Browse

    When you enter this selection student ids are displayed in
    area A.

    Place and X by the line you wish to view.

    Key over the highlighted Student Id on the first line to go to a specific student.

    If you don't know the student id you can press PF4 to perform a
    Student Name Lookup
    using the NAME BROWSE.

    Student Name Lookup

    This screen is used to help locate a student. Place an X next to the 
    record you would like to see and press ENTER. 

    You can reposition the browse by keying the desired student on line one.

    Route/Run Display
    This screen is used to display runs within bus routes as extracted from the EDULOG system.  Enter the bus route, the bus run or both to start the display. You can over key the route and run fields to re-position the display.

    Student ID is area A name is B.

    Use the PF4 key to align the screen to start at the first student record for a stop when paging through a run. PF7 and PF8 is used to view records in a run. PF5 and PF6 skips forward and backward one route at a time. PF9 and PF10 does the same for runs within a route.

    The date that the file was extracted from the EDULOG system is displayed in the upper left of the screen. The red heading corresponds with the data on the stop line and the normal heading corresponds with the data on the student line.
