Charles W. Duval Elementary School, utilizing the fine arts, will actively engage all students in reading and in the use of their hands, hearts, and minds to pursue academic excellence and personal growth both in and through the arts.

• SCHOOL GRADES ARE IN AND IT'S OFFICIAL!  Duval is an "A" School for 2007-2008 in the State of Florida!  We have also met 100 percent of the criteria for Adequate Yearly Progress as measured by the No Child Left Behind Act!

• Please check the School Calendar Link to plan ahead for many up and coming Duval events including the following:
   

• Wednesday, November 12th at 10:30 am - 11:00 am: Building Blocks for Success.  Mr. Scherwin Williams is our November guest speaker.
   

• Tuesday, November 18th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: FCAT Parent Night.  Dinner will be served and childcare will be provided.
   

• Thursday, November 20th: Thanksgiving Lunch.  Please come and have lunch for $3.00 with your child at their scheduled lunch time.
   

• Thursday and Friday, November 20th and 21st @ 12:45 pm: 1st Grade Play in the John Dukes Multi-Purpose Room.
   

• Saturday, November 22nd @ 12:15 pm: The Dramatic Dragons and the Dance Theatre performance at @ Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.  Please speak to Mrs. Terrell for more information.
